Not Just a Juicer

A blender can be and often is used for juicing, but, unlike a true juicer, blenders combine the pulpy parts with the juice itself.  It may be reasonably argued that this creates a more fiber friendly, finely pureed beverage. In fact, this is what many want, making the blender the preferred tool for drink preparation. Food processors can be utilised in this manner as well, but, generally, blenders crush ice and liquefy better than do food processors.
