HTI Osmotic Filters - Designed for the Real World
In the event of an emergency where might you find an available water source? The answer to that could be mud, tire ruts, lakes, flood waters, rivers, ditches, dirty puddles or brackish ponds. In other words, you can never be quite certain where you might find that water, nor in what condition that water might be fouund.
Fortunately, HTI's family of emergency osmotic filters can make use of just about any water source that your might encounter. These filters will remove viruses, heavy metals, fertilizers, cysts, assorted parasites, bacteria, rotovirus, anthrax, pesticides, petroleum, and many other various contaminants from dirty water, and render it safe and drinkable.
HTI explains, "HTI's revolutionary forward osmosis water filtration products were originally developed in cooperation with the US Department of Defense for soldier hydration. Funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the goal of the project was to develop a means by which a soldier could drink any water found on the ground, no matter how contaminated. There were a number of water technologies involved in the project, but critical to meeting the goals of the military was the ability to work well with muddy or turbid water. DARPA understood that forward osmosis was the only technology that had the potential to work unimpeded in thick, dirty water."
In order to keep its product working, HTI makes available a full line of accessories.
