The Green Star 1000, 2000 and 3000 Juice Extractors and Food Processors use the same Twin Gear technology, at a more affordable price than the award winning Gold GP-E1503. Despite that lower price, Green Star continues to go the "extra mile" in making sure the highest qualtiy goes into all of their machines. The higher wattage motors (image shown), for instance, are under less strain, with increased durability and longevity. The 190w motor is fan cooled, which prevents it from overheating. Thick reduction gears are strong and durable, and multiply motor power to 4 HP at the drive shaft. Extra planning has also gone into the Heavy Duty Twin Gears (also illustrated) which produce a firm juicing action. Long gears squeeze more pulp for a longer amount of time for increased juicing efficency. Bio-ceramic and magnetic technologies increase the nutritional value and stability of the extracted juices. That same care and forethought has been used in something as simple as the screening system. With Green Star a large screen surface area (also illustrated) has been accomodated so as to increase the effectiviness of straining pulp, and reducing the chances of clogging. The GS-1000 is the starter model of the Green Star series. It lacks none of the quality of the other two, but does lack some of the extras. The GS-2000 is the same as the 1000, but also includes drip tray, coarse screen and strainer. The GS-3000 is the same as the 1000 and 2000, except it includes the mochi (rice) and pasta maker. The Green Star Juicers have all the accessories, but make two kinds of pasta instead of three versions available with GP-E1503 Gold.
