The Classicor 8 quart covered stockpot from Kinetics is a quality piece of cookware that is designed to simmer meats and vegetables to create a tasty stock to use as the base for soups, sauces and gravies. The soups and stews themselves can also be made in the Classicor stock pot.
Made up of high quality, heavy gauge 18/10 stainless steel, Classicor cookware has a tri-ply stainless steel base with a 3 mm thick aluminum heat core. This Tri-ply construction is, in fact, a 3 layer construction consisting of two outer layers of stainless steel, with an inner layer of aluminum. This incorporates all of the benefits of each metal into one piece of cookware, and, as might be expected, is only to be found in superior cookware. Another advantage to using Classicor cookware is an induction range compatible protector plate to lessen the chance of warping and to provide better heat retention.
The stock pot will work on every range top including induction ranges.
