Make great tasting Beef Jerky or Venison Jerky at Home! It's easy. All you need is a pound of lean, ground meat, a packet each of Nesco's American Harvest jerky spice and cure mixes, and a suitable dehydrator (best to be capable of drying foods at a temperature of 155º F.). You'll save money too. Each box of Jerky Spice Works contains six seasoning and six cure packets. That's enough to treat six pounds of meat, and enough to save you up to $40 in what you'd pay at the store for commercially produced jerky.
