The SnapHeat 5x9 Heat Pack is one of the most versatile of heat packs. It can be used on most areas of the body in treating sore muscles and joints or it can be put to use as a foot and leg warmer. The heating lasts from 30 to 90 minutes (or more if well insulated), but unlike the throw-away packs, the SnapHeat Pack is fully re-usable again and again and is ideal for any application where there is a need for safe, convenient, fast, odor free, heat.
Designed for Therapeutic or Emergency Uses, the SnapHeat Packs are made of a soft pliable plastic that will heat to 130°F in 10-15 seconds. No electric cords or plug-in devices are needed. Just press a button and the heat pack is immediately activated. To re-use: Immerse heat pack(s) in water and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-20 minutes or until completely clear. When done allow heat packs to dry and cool to room temperature before reuse.
Note: The SnapHeat Pack is somewhat heavier than the one time use packs, a factor that should be considered when planning an emergency survival kit.
Suggestion: If being used as a foot or leg warmer, ordering a pair will allow warming of both feet!
