An Important Note!
You should know...
The ALL-AMERICAN pressure cookers and pressure canners are intended and manufactured solely for home use. Despite their rugged design, they are not intended for commercial applications.
Before making your purchase, you should also be aware that Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Co., the manufacturer of ALL-AMERICAN Pressure Cookers and Pressure Canners, wishes to advise you that these products have not been designed for use on flat, ceramic/glass-top stoves.
Since 1930, WAFCO, the manufacturer of All-American pressure canners, has been offering a selection of pressure canners/pressure cookers, a product deemed to provide the best and safest method for home canning. Presto began even earlier, producing a commercial pressure canner at their inception in 1905. The fact is, the USDA recommends pressure canning as the only safe way to can meat, fish, poultry and vegetables. These pressure canner/cookers are available in a full range of sizes -- big enough for preparing large quantities of food and pressure cooking inexpensive meat cuts to juicy tenderness quickly and easily. They are, indeed, dual purpose appliances -- pressure canners and pressure cookers.
